A Flannel Twig Branch Christmas Tree

Every year at Christmas, I find myself making at least one or two Christmas creations and/or crafts.

Creative Ambitions Christmas Creations Crafts

When I first started blogging… I made felt ornaments for my tree.

The next year, I made my Christmas Barn.

Last year, I made the Wood Sliced Pine Cone Tree for my mantel,

along with a Christmas ornament wood sliced tree

and

balsam fir no sew sachet pillows to add that woodsy pine fragrance to my home.

This year

I made the houses that adorn my mantel for A Snowy Christmas Village along with the ice skater and snowman hanging out by the fire.

And now,

I have one more little holiday decoration this season I want to share with you…

Don’t you just love those twig branch Christmas trees that you see in blogland??

I certainly do…

soooo… I made my own version this year!

I covered the branches in some scrap flannel, hot glued the fabric on and then hot glued the twigs onto the main branch.

Next…

I put it in old coffee can with styrofoam and rocks and added moss on top.

I even added some ornaments to spruce it up a bit.

This project was a little messy but super easy and fun to create!

I think it turned out cute…

What do you think??
