The hubs and I went to visit some family in Portland, Maine recently.
All of the landscape photos were taking by my husband (maybe 2 or 3 by me)…
he did such a good job.
So lots of pics ahead.
Can I just say… it is absolutely GORGEOUS up there!
I loved the rocky coast line! So beautiful!
We visited many places…
in fact we got stranded for a few days because of
Hurricane Sandy
but took advantage of the time and got to visit a few more sites.
The pics on this post is pre-hurricane…so the weather was awesome for the first few days.
One of our stops included the town of Kennebunkport.
Love this little town with all the quaint little shops and beautiful coast line.
And then we ended that day in York, Maine.
Such a beautiful sunset there!
The next day included an excursion to The White Mountains on the
Kancamagas Highway.
This covered bridge was built in 1858! Gorgeous!
Tons of granite in all the creeks…so cool.
The Lily Pond …Wow… it is so serene and gorgeous!
And last but not least…
A couple of Church buildings I shot pics of out the car window
on our way back to Portland.
I Love old Church buildings with the steeple/bell towers.
Well, that’s it for part one of our vacation!
More photos of our trip to Maine coming soon!!
