Hi Everyone!
Hope you are finding this season Merry and Bright!
Finally finished my 2013 Christmas Mantel… yay!
If you like festive and color… then this is for you!
This year’s theme/scene is
A Snowy Christmas Village…
but not the villages you are use to seeing!
Nope… this is a Kendra style Christmas Village…
BIG with a artsy – folk – twist!
Hope you enjoy!
This photo I added a red lantern… can you tell I love old lanterns?!
The houses were made from all different kinds of cardboard boxes
(any I could find).
I used a can of snow to make the “dusting” on the roof tops.
Girl and snowmen are foam core and cardboard cut outs… didn’t have time to cut them out of wood like I had originally planned.
Lovin’ my flannel pillow covers made from a scrap flannel sheet I had!
Well… that’s my Snowy Christmas Village Mantel this year!
Last year’s Christmas Mantel is here.
Merry Christmas everyone!!

ReplyDeleteHi Stacey... made these out of any skinny boxes I could find... you could use cereal boxes or Christmas light boxes...etc! I just cut, taped, glued, and painted them!
