I'm a part time blogger. And when inspiration "hits"... I love to create and share with you some of my unique home decor ideas.
I like a mixture of everything... a little rustic, a little contemporary, a little cottage, a little traditional, a little country, a little old and a little new... I guess that makes my style eclectic.
I inherited my appreciation for classic, old, farm rustic elements from my mother who has a definite love for antiques and collectibles. From days of old, I love to take timeless pieces and incorporate them into my mantel displays and new projects. I currently share an antique booth with my mom in Dayton, TN... a new venture for us as an outlet to sell some of my creations along with her antiques.
Also, you might come across a piece of art work or two here on the blog... ART is my first love and something I like to dabble in from time to time. I am revamping my old art blog and hoping to eventually list some paintings there of mine and possibly blog about the process in which I created them.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Retail and Consumer Science with a background in visual merchandising, display and fashion styling. My passion is to CREATE and I thank God for the wonderful, creative ideas He blesses me with!
