Another Repurposed Drawer Clock

Only this time it was a custom made piece for my sister-in-law.

012blog

I normally don’t do custom pieces…

I found that I enjoy the experience of creating more when I am creating from my ideas.

BUT

this clock was for family.

I donated it to my niece’s school fundraising auction.

My sister-in-law came up with the concept of LOVE IS

and my niece and her classmates wrote on the clock face

what LOVE means to them.

Cute huh?

And on the back…

I glued a vintage looking tag with my blog name on the back.

  8. Love it! I know what you mean about not being so keen about custom pieces - they make me nervous! I'm always worried they won't turn out as expected in someone else's eyes. I think you did a fantastic job and I'm sure everyone was very pleased!
