Another Repurposed Drawer Clock

Only this time it was a custom made piece for my sister-in-law.

I normally don’t do custom pieces…

I found that I enjoy the experience of creating more when I am creating from my ideas.

this clock was for family.

I donated it to my niece’s school fundraising auction.

My sister-in-law came up with the concept of LOVE IS

and my niece and her classmates wrote on the clock face

what LOVE means to them.

Cute huh?

And on the back…

I glued a vintage looking tag with my blog name on the back.

If you want to see my very first repurposed/recycled drawer clock…

Thanks For Stoppin’ By!

  1. Loovvvveee it....You women amaze me.

  2. Kendra, you take nothing and create masterpieces. What a speical piece. I love the idea of the kids writing on the face of the clock. And I'm in love with your business card!

  3. What an awesome clock. You are very talented.

  4. Kendra, that is so sweet...I LOVE all the different hand writing and especially that it's all in cursive! (good teachers keeping the old ways in tact!! LOL!)

And that tag on the back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Awwww. That is soooo adorable. Love, love, love the tag. How did you do that, it's beautiful.

  6. Love it the second time too. The tag is fabulous...where did you ever find that.

Looking for drawers suitable for this project...maybe the next big flea market. :)

  7. That was so sweet of you to make that for them. It turned out great. Love the tag you made too.

  8. Love it! I know what you mean about not being so keen about custom pieces - they make me nervous! I'm always worried they won't turn out as expected in someone else's eyes. I think you did a fantastic job and I'm sure everyone was very pleased!

  9. Thanks again for following my blog. I just had a moment to check out more of your goodies and just love the tin awning and the crate table.....love em. I will try to build something similar at next sundays market and hand out your site....looking forward to your next project. My best, Sheryl

  10. Hi there
